Ian Lynch is a rare breed – equal parts dog lover and seasoned entertainer.
 

His passion for dogs runs deep - and it started early. As a kid, Ian was rarely seen without the Dogs in Canada magazine in hand - he read it cover to cover until he had it memorized. At age seven, after a nasty biking accident left his jaw in pieces, his mom frantically asked what he needed. Through the pain, Ian had just one request: “I want a puppy.”
 

Fast forward and Ian has become a trusted voice in the canine community. He hosts YouTube series, writes popular blogs, and provides expert commentary at major dog shows. When he’s not behind the mic, you’ll find him in the ring showing his own Standard Poodles and Dandie Dinmont Terriers. His “Meet the Breeds” events draw enthusiastic crowds, and his appearances on news and lifestyle shows cover everything from responsible pet ownership to breed advocacy and the joys of life with dogs.
 

Ian’s talents don’t stop at the leash. As a writer, comedian, and TV/radio personality, he’s been making audiences laugh for two decades. After being crowned London’s Funniest Person in 2006 in his hometown of London, Ontario, he performed at the Canadian Comedy Awards in 2007 and won the Toronto Comedy Brawl in 2009. In 2010, he was cast in MTV Canada and Logo USA’s 1 girl 5 gays, where he became a fan favourite for five seasons. He later wrote and co-hosted shows for MTV (Jersey Shore at Sheena’s House) and MuchMusic (New Music Live). From 2017 to 2023, Ian brought his signature energy to the airwaves as a morning show radio host on Corus Entertainment's 102.1 The Edge and 103.1 Fresh Radio.
